I first hesitated to profile the CM Storm Quickfire Stealth Mechanical Gaming Keyboard on my Site because to be quite frankly, i have not played a ton of Games with it. But damn is this a sexy beast of a controller. A tenkeyless Keyboard with silent Cherry MX Red Switches, with a sleek all black finish. Here we go:
|Connector:||USB 2.0 (PS/2 with Adapter), Gold Connector|
|Cable Length:||ca. 180cm (braided)|
|Dimensions:||355 x 135 x 35 mm|
|Features:||Phantom Keycaps / Letters are printed on the front of the keycaps / 6 Additional Keys (WASD, Windows-Keycaps) and keycap puller|
|Controls:||87 Keys (Repeat Rate adjustment in PS/2 Mode)
7 Multimedia Shortcuts and 2 Windows Keys
I bought this keyboard because i love keyboards. And i especially love the ones with Cherry MX Reds which give you a non tactile and almost silent feel when you push the keys. The rubberized finish on the CM Storm Quickfire stealth is nothing short of amazing. The Keycaps feel sturdy and durable. Cooler Master states that they are tested for 50 million keystrokes. Sounds good to me. As much as i absolutely love the design and craftsmanship that went into this keyboard, i’d still prefer to play games on the PC with a dedicated controller or something that gives me more of a Game-feeling, as for example the Razer Orbweaver does.
